INTRODUCTION
The HvPI Toolkit is a set of resources and information helpfulin the practice of Haemovigilance in India. The main aim of its development is to ensure that personnel involved in Haemovigilance Programme of India (HvPI) get easy access to information on the processes and activities involved in HvPI provided by the National Coordinating Centre of HvPI i.e. National Institute of Biologicals. This Toolkit comprises of easy step-by-step procedures which can be followed by the HvPI personnel with some templates and forms that can be adapted as per the situation during the practice of Haemovigilance under HvPI. The Toolkit contents are endorsed by the HvPI Advisory Committee on the Safety of Blood Transfusion and Blood Product Administration.
